A chorus girl's career is ruined and her brother is driven to suicide when she starts smoking marijuana.  SHE SHOULDA SAID 'NO'! ) is a 1949 exploitation film that follows in the spirit of morality tales such as the 1936 film REEFER MADNESS. Directed by Sam Newfield and starring Lita Leeds, the film is semi-biographical following the story of what Leeds herself experienced. The film was inspired by the highly publicized arrest of movie stars Robert Mitchum and Leeds for marijuana possession in 1948.
