Beautiful Susan Hayward plays Angie, a well-known sexy nightclub chanteuse who gives up her career to marry a rising young singer, ala Sinatra. Angie starts drinking and her life heads on a downward spiral to the bottom of the bottle. A powerful film drama with music that foreshadowed Hayward's classic MGM film, I'LL CRY TOMORROW, about the rise and fall of songbird Lillian ROth. Top rate entertainment!
