Horror icon Rondo Hatton stars as the Creeper , a murderer seeking vengence against the people he holds responsible for the disfigurement of his features. Starring handsome leading man Tom Neal (DETOUR) and Jan Wiley as a married couple the Creeper blames for his deformities. With Jane Adams as a blind pianist for whom the Creeper tries to raise money for an operation to restore her vision. The Brute Man was produced by Universal Studios near the end of their famous "monster period." During a merger, the studio decided not to release any more "B-Movies" and the film and sold it to the Producer's Releasing Corp., which released it.
