Boris Karloff stars as the famous Chinese detective, James Lee Wong, to investigate and solve the murder of a rich shipping tycoon. What seems like an open and shut case to Capt. Street (Grant Withers) quickly becomes a web of deceit, lies and murder! The fifth of Monogram's six Mr. Wong films, and the last one starring Boris Karloff.
