A newly-wed couple purchase an old English mansion and soon after moving in, realize that it is haunted by poltergiests from it's infamous past. It seems the original owner's wife had an affair with a sailor and the husband murdered them both on the premises. The mansion has been under the curse of the murders since that day. A doctor specializing in the occult is summoned to try and exorcize the spirits from the premises once and for all. But how can he hope to succeed against such dark and sinister powers?
