The silver screen's first true epic science fiction masterpiece!  In a futuristic city, the working class live below ground creating the power for the upper-class, who live above ground in fantastic towering cities. And that's how the status quo remains until the son of the city's mastermind falls in love with a charismatic working-class girl who predicts the coming of a savior to unite them.  Fritz Lang creates an amazing futuristic world and cautionary fable that still stands up today. It's hard to believe the film was made over 85 years ago.
