Inspired by the TV show, DRAGNET, this Ed Wood thriller tells the saga of a rich but troubled young man who kills a cop and has plastic surgery to hide his identity.

"Shot in July of 1953 as THE HIDDEN FACE, the role of Dr. Boris Gregor was initally planned for Bela Lugosi, who for some unknown reason was unable to do it. The role went to Herbert Rawlinson, who died the morning after the last night of filming. Wood gave his girlfriend Dolores Fuller her biggest screen role and Mr. Universe Steve Reeves his first acting job. With 30s star Lyle Talbot, Tim Farrell as gangster Vic Brady and Vogue cover girl Theodora Thurman as his wise-cracking moll."
